2010 Featured Breast Cancer Survivor: Cheri Koning
Last year Cheri ran the Bee Brave race in honor of her best friend who had just had a double mastectomy.  Three weeks later, Cheri was diagnosed with breast cancer.  At this time, she has completed two rounds of chemo and hopes to be finished with radiation by the time of this year's race!

2009 Breast Cancer Survivor: Elly Blacquiere
Elly Blacquiere (pictured second from left) was our 2009 Bee Brave spokeswoman.  Elly was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 24, with no family history of the disease.  She is currently in remission and has had two 'clean scans' since her treatments completed early this year.  We pray for your continued 'cancer free' diagnosis Elly!  Hope to see you again at this years' event!

We all know someone who has been affected by this awful disease.  Won't you help us continue the quest to find a cure?  Your participation in this event makes a difference!  Our goal this year is $25,000!  Visit the donation page now to learn how YOU can help!
